Pictured above are rotor bars alloyed with chromium. Top is
AGCO/Gleaner rasp type P3 processor, also used on our modified rotors and
enclosed cylinders modified for rasp bar operation. Lower left is latest style
New Holland rub type rotor bar. Lower center is IHC spiked rotor bar for
specialty rotor (rice and bean vines). Lower right is standard rub type bar
for IHC specialty rotor.

Alloying with chromium provides a rotor bar which requires no plating,
heat treating, or other treatment in order to provide greatly extended service
life.
Hardness ranges from Rc48 for Rasp type rotor bars to Rc65 for rub
type rotor bars.

These alloyed bars have been operating for years in conditions where
extreme abrasion is always a factor (rice, dry beans, soybeans, abrasive soil
conditions), and their service life has been about 5-6 times longer than
chrome plating and 3-4 times that of our hardsurfaced rotor bars.
